Washington, known for being the city without skyscrapers, but full of memorials and some of the best museums in the world. There's a lot things to see in Washington, reminding us of many mythical scenes from movies and series, which will make you feel like on a set. We have taken advantage of our 40-day stay in New York to spend 3 days visiting it and trying to discover everything we can about it.
To make the trip to Washington from New York you have two options if you want to do it by public transport: bus or train. We recommend the bus, since the price of the train is much higher and the journey time is similar, between 4 and 5 hours. In addition the seats of the buses are much more comfortable and have Wi-Fi, something that if you want to take advantage of work or review the places to visit, you can go great. Buses leave several times a day, from near Penn Station, easily accessible by subway from anywhere in the city.
