Day 2: RENO - IDAHO FALLS - YELLOWSTONE NP (WEST ENTRANCE)

After the full day we had yesterday with the flight from Barcelona to San Francisco and the subsequent surprises, we woke up at 4 in the morning and between the jetlag, being without sleep and the desire we have to start the trip to Yellowstone, we decided shower and get going.
Thus we recover the 2 hours we lost yesterday and we advance those hours trying to get to the hotel Lazy Motel near Yellowstone. There are many hours of road, about 13 and that is presented as a very long day.
Since yesterday the day was quite fast in every way, this morning, before heading to Yellowstone, we preferred to take a few laps with the rental car in the United States for parking, to adapt, especially since Roger took the He car all the time and we hit the road.
Before leaving, we decided that we will take shifts of about 2 hours, to rest and change drivers. It is something that we had already mentioned and that we will try to do throughout this trip through the National Parks and the West Coast of the United States.
As we make kilometers we realize how easy it is to drive here: endless, straight roads where the end is not seen and mostly desert landscapes, which make driving a delight for all the senses.
A trip that we thought was going to be very hard and long and that nevertheless has gone perfect and we have enjoyed it very much.

In one of the stops we make in the road from Reno to Yellowstone We called the San Francisco airport and the West Yellowstone hotel, where we will be staying the next few days, to confirm that we will have the suitcase that night.
From the airport they confirm that this will be the case, so we do this last part of the journey with the smile that gives the knowledge that we have been the incident.

We arrived at the Lazy G Motel hotel located in West yellowstone, less than 5 minutes from that door at 9 o'clock. It's already a closed night and almost nothing is distinguished, what we see and notice is the snow accumulated in the cars and the cold it is.
The hotel owner tells us that she has been called from San Francisco airport saying that the suitcase will arrive the next day, and although I take a small hot flash, I do not want this to make me bitter these days in Yellowstone so I will get ready with some Roger clothes, some long sock and some sure shirt that I can take advantage of .
Luckily we were carrying them on the anoraks to avoid overloading the bags.
At this time we just want to lie down and rest, this time in a bed, to charge ourselves with energies to start tomorrow the visit to the incredible yellowstone park.

We go to bed after 10 at night, tomorrow one of the most complete days awaits us visiting one of the most famous parks in the world.
We have 3 days to explore it thoroughly.
