Day 23: LOMBOK: GILI ISLANDS (GILI TRAWANGAN) - GILI MENO - GILI TRAWANGAN

Today sounds alarm clock at 7 in the morning. We have a small excursion that will take us from Gili Trawangan to Gili Meno, so as for a few days that we do nothing, it is a novelty for us.
We had breakfast at Villa Ombak. I have to say that I am eating waffles, crêpes and pancakes every morning !! This can not be!!! Please… bikini operation !!!
When we finish we go straight to get the tickets to Go from Gili Trawangan to Gili Meno by boat within the Gili Islands.
We take out the tickets and in less than 15 minutes we are on the boat that will take us to Gili Meno Island.
It took us 20 minutes to arrive and we found a much less inhabited island. Of course, it maintains the same "style". And the only bad thing, it also keeps dirt.
It's the only thing we can complain about this trip to Indonesia. I can't understand how they don't keep nature !!
Without realizing it, we started walking along the beach of Gili Meno Island, wetting our feet and we see that the tide is quite high.

When we realize we are in the middle of the Gili Meno Island, so since we are we intend to go around completely. We are stopping in the coves we like, but in this part of the island the sea is not very calm, so it is difficult to find a pleasant area.

So it is very hot, we decided to sit for a while in a bar that we found along the way. And we sat at a table, where next door they have a pool with small turtles. So we are very distracted !!

When it is already 12 o'clock, we find that the sea has calmed down a lot and we reach an impressive area.
The sea is a very clear turquoise blue.

And of course we think that if we have time to eat perfect food and if we don't eat at Gili Trawangan, the point is that we planted our towels here and we don't move !!
After an hour and a peak, we begin to notice that we are a little bit blackened, so we think that it is best to go to the place where the boats leave from Gili Meno Island to Gili Trawangan, we also don't know yet how much time we have left to arrive.

We continue for about 20 minutes and we find the office. As we still have 45 minutes left, we decided to eat at a bar nearby.
We ate a couple of great sandwiches and a big water. All for about 80000 rupees.

We wait a while and our boat appears. It's 15.30h and we return to Gili Trawangan

For now, without thinking about it, we go to the hotel Gili Trawangan to cool a little and rest for a little while.
We went out to dinner with the idea of changing some money and in the end we decided to do it tomorrow morning. We will have time because we have met at 12:30 in the morning with a fast boat that will take us to Lombok and from there we will come to find a car to take us to Mataram, to the airport.
After crossing the street of the restaurants we end up again in the Trattoria ... this begins to be suspicious !! What's happening to us???
The truth is that it is a very quiet place and what we least want these days is to be somewhere with loud music or with many people, so these days it has become our “corner”.
After dinner, we will spend our last night in Gili Trawangan in the Villa Ombak and in the Gili Islands.
