This is the first of hotels in Iceland in which we stayed. Guesthouse in Keflavik 5 minutes drive from Reykjavik International Airport.
The guesthouse has 2 rooms and shared bathroom.
All facilities are very comfortable and clean. We have a kitchen and a living room to use to our needs.
Breakfast consists of a variety of items that are in the kitchen / fridge and that you can cook yourself. Then you have to wash the dishes, glasses ... etc that you use.
The entire establishment has free quality Wi-Fi.
There is free parking both at the establishment and on the street where it is located.

Guesthouse Aurora
Guesthouse in Reykjavik, located right next to Hallgrímskirkja.
They do not have private parking, but in the same cale there are no problems to find for free.
The rooms are fairly fair in size, but very clean.
They do not have an elevator and the stairs are very narrow, so climbing the luggage is a difficulty.
They have a Wi-Fi signal throughout the establishment, but in the rooms the signal is quite weak.
Breakfast is included in the price of the room and is served at the bottom of the guesthouse. It is very complete, varied and quality.

Julia's Guesthouse
Hotel on the outskirts of Sellfoss, about 6 kilometers from the main road, with access via a gravel track, which can be accessed perfectly with a normal car driving carefully.
On the outside it seems somewhat dilapidated, but inside the rooms and facilities are great and have a lot of charm.
The rooms are large, very clean and with all the comforts.

The owners are very nice and they inform you about everything you need, both in the country and in the area.
Breakfast is included in the price of the room and is completely apart from homemade. Even the owner makes the bread herself in the morning.
They have free wifi throughout the house with quite a good signal.

Hof 1 Hotel
Hotel in Hof 30 kilometers from Jökulsárlón glacier lagoon and 110 of Vík located in a spectacular environment.
The rooms are small but very comfortable, with shared bathroom.
They have a Wi-Fi signal but only in the lobby although sometimes a little signal arrives in the rooms, although very weak.
It is something expensive for what it offers, but without a doubt the environment and with the prices that are in Iceland, we have to recommend it.
The only bad thing is that if you arrive later than 6 you have to call to let them know and they leave your keys at the reception.
We have called at 7 in the morning to notify and have hung up saying that the reception would be at 7.30 😉

Gerði in Suðursveit
Hotel 5 minutes from Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon, on the right hand side of the main road.
The rooms are large and very comfortable.
The entrance is until 9 at night, if you arrive later you have to call to notify.
They have wifi but in the rooms the signal is quite poor.
Breakfast is not included in the price of the room.
Opposite is the Museum restaurant very good and with a very acceptable price / quality ratio.
Perfect accommodation if you want to enjoy the sunrise and sunset in Jökulsárlón.

Lyngás Guesthouse
Hotel in Egilsstaðir. They have spacious and very correct rooms. The bathrooms are shared but have extra bathrooms on all floors, so there are never crowds of people.
The price does not include breakfast or meal service, but they do have a kitchen for guests to use.
Wifi signal very good in every establishment.

Laugar Guesthouse
Hotel in Laugar on the outskirts of town. We have all the comforts and very good wifi signal. The beds are very comfortable and the bathrooms very clean.
The owner of the guesthouse helps us a lot with the itinerary we have planned for the next day.

Húsavík Cape Hotel
Hotel in Húsavik, very new, a little far from the city center, but there is no problem to move, since the city is small. By car in less than 3 minutes you are in the center.
The rooms have a private bathroom and Wi-Fi, which although it reaches the rooms, the signal is quite weak.

Draflastadir Guesthouse
Hotel in Akureyri, with very large and comfortable rooms, with shared bathroom.
The establishment has a kitchen and lounge and a hydromassage on the terrace that is a luxury added to this guesthouse.

Guesthouse Nedra-Vatnshorn
Guesthouse in Breiðabólsstaður. The rooms are quite small and despite the fact that they advertise wifi in the rooms, when we ask they tell us that we have to go to the main house, about 500 meters away, which is the house of the owners.
The price does not include breakfast.
From our experience, the only one that has not convinced us on this trip to Iceland.

Guesthouse in Borgarnesvery central. The rooms are large and have all the comforts.
