Day 22: SAN FRANCISCO - LOS ÁNGELES (Touring the Big Sur)

Today we leave the Grant Hotel in San Francisco early because we want tour the Big Sur from San Francisco to Los Angeles, or what is the same, California in its purest form.
We have a pretty cloudy day, so some of the stops we plan to make on this tour, we make them quite in passing, without spending much time since the views are quite bad.
We do about 150 kilometers down the Pacific Coast Highway (also called Cabrillo Highway on this section or Highway 1), although we call it highway 1.
Our First stop at the Big Sur is on a Monterrey beach, full of birds and people walking their dog on the beach.

It is a road that is in perfect condition, but has very sharp bends and very steep hills that prevent you from going very fast. That allows you to enjoy incredible views of the cliffs that we travel.

Halfway, we make a stop to eat and soon a lot of hungry squirrels approach us.

After this stop to make an impromptu picnic, we arrive at a beach full of sea lions off the southern coast of California.

Although we go with a little fear of driving here, we have no problem getting to our hotel, the Motel 6 Hollywood, located in the heart of Los Angeles Walk of Fame.
We leave our rental car in the United States in a nearby car park since yours is complete, we check in and although we are quite tired we want to do a little exploration of the neighborhood, so we go to the Paseo de la Fama, one of the areas most famous in the city.

Fear!! That is my first impression and I had not thought it was Halloween night !! In the street there is no room for a soul and I believe that we are the only ones who go without a mask. We found a lot of police and a little weird feeling. I interpret that perhaps because of people's disguises, but I have found something insecure.
I think that spending so many days in the national parks, in the midst of so much nature, has left a mark on my feelings and now seeing so many people together I feel misplaced.
But we do not give up and walk the Walk of Fame, as we can, making ourselves hollow among people.
