Our trip to Marrakech and Essaouira took us for 5 days for the first time to Morocco, a country that we really wanted to go for years.
One of the biggest impediments when traveling to Morocco has been the price of airline tickets, which always had prices high enough to make us decide for another destination. And the scales, something that at the beginning we did not count on it and later we verified that leaving from Barcelona, many companies, if not the majority included it.
One of the best options is to try to fly during the week, since prices, as a general rule, are cheaper than not on holidays or weekends.
On this trip we not only wanted to know Marrakech, but we wanted to cover a little more and in the end we decided on Essaouira, a city that turned out to be a balm for us after spending the first days in a much more bustling Marrakech than we thought.
The pearl of the Atlantic surprised us greatly and we recommend your visit as a perfect complement to Marrakech.
The best time to visit Marrakech and Essaouira is in the spring and autumn seasons, in which the weather is much more temperate and benign.
The wide hours of sun allow you to extend the days a lot, with the option to enjoy more walks and especially the terraces, something essential in Marrakech.
Although it must be said that between the months of November to March, accommodation prices are also higher because it is the most popular time to travel.
